I always regret when I do not do my research and buy things based on hyped reviews.I guess people are very different and so are the skins and skin needs.Bought it for my husband who has relatively dry skin and works outside. Though a rich cream would be good.He always happily uses the things I get but this one is a no-no and I agree.It’s tacky it’s thick and it doesn’t absorb. If you want a shiny face for hours go for it!I also didn’t check the ingredients which I have done now – 8 “icky” ones (that’s a lot!). Alcohol limonene fragrance linalool citral etcAnd the moisturising ingredients are very superficial and heavy which don’t fix the root cause – lack of hydration.Do yourself and for your skin a favour and order some Korean serums and creams they are not full of unnecessary ingredients and are full of beneficial stuff. Bought this on the recommendation of Katie Jayne Hughes on Instagram. She swears it is her holy grail product and has beautiful glossy skin. Well what can I say? I have been using this for less than a week and it is a wonder product. Use a tiny amount warmed up in my hands first across my cheekbones and forehead and then patted into the skin. I feel there has almost been a ‘blurring’ effect on my skin. Like a real life filter! This is such a reasonable price and I would recommend at least giving it a go. I don’t know why I waited so long!

I suffer from extremely dry skin and the skin on my face is awful. It gets so dry it cracks and then I get spots awful! This cream has made a real difference. It is very thick like an ointment not something you would usually dream of using on your face. I mix it with Vitamin E oil which makes it easier to rub in. Also the massaging action helps with circulation. I use it on other dry patches and it is a very kind cream. Those of you with extremely dry skin will know that some moisturisers actually sting quite a lot when applied but this doesn’t do that. Being an ointment type cream it gives you a protective layer for much longer than creams that are quickly absorbed. I would recommend this and as someone who suffers from spots I can say for me anyway that it has reduced this problem using it on my face which sounds contrary I know!

I’ve known Weleda Skin Food as an effective high-quality moisturizer for the body. But my recent order of five tubes on Amazon were anything but. I received a product that looks like Weleda from Amazon that is more akin to sludge than moisturizer. Whatever is in these tubes it does NOT moisturize; indeed it’s difficult to even get whatever this is to squeeze out of the tube.This is not the first time I’ve received substandard obviously counterfeit products from Amazon. From now on I’m going to buy directly from the manufacturer instead of from Amazon. Amazon is no “deal” when what you receive isn’t real.
